Our History
The Inntelligence story started in 2002 when Penny Brown brought together a group of innovative hoteliers and a designer who all had an interest in being part of a “new style” bed and breakfast. A run-down guest house was discovered in a great location in Belgravia, and, after competing for the site by submitting a detailed budget and concept package, the team won a new 60-year lease from The Grosvenor Estate.
The new business, B+B Belgravia, was quickly successful, and Penny started to get enquiries to assist hotel owners and investors with advice or management. Penny left her role as VP Human Resources with Raffles/Swissotel, and Inntelligence was born early in 2006.
Today Inntelligence owns its own offices in Colnbrook, manages 8 hospitality businesses of varying styles and sizes, employs 14 people directly and manages over 250 staff through management contracts.
Most recently Penny has restructured the company to include directors for our various specialisms as we look to grow and develop for the future. Today we continue to innovate, to learn and to inspire through the most challenging of times for hospitality – we are nothing if not resourceful and resilient.
